  1. Learn to speak spanish. Buy pocket books about Spanish and Spain. Buy maps also, the roads there dont have alot of road signs. The people there are quite nice so you can ask them usually about the stuff there. Don't forget to eat fruits there especially oranges and melon. Its really yummy

  2. Good answers above.

More questions:  WHERE are you going?  What kind of advice do you need?  What to do?  Where to stay?  What to see?  How to drive?

If you give US more information, we can give you more specific advice!

    Whatever you do...have fun!

  3. How do you answer? - are you going for business or pleasure?, long stay or short stay? Do you need to look for work ? or want to visit art galleries and museums? Are you EU citizen ? (which makes travelling to and from much easier).

Please re-post your question with more information.

  4. Visit Salou and Benidorm.Well there are many other beautiful places, but these are my favourite.

  5. I go to Spain every year because i am from spain

    tips:

In Spain people dress more formally that people in the US do, espacially women. Please dont go in sweatpants or sweats in public, people will know you are an alien

You should know that spain has also of old ruins from the romans and arabics. You must visit ruins, fasinating

Depending on were exaclly you go, the people might speak a little differently. For example: In Extremadura ( the place I go most of the time) speaks spanish fast and doesnt pronouns the "s" sound in some words

Go to neiboring states like Portugal

Do not see a bull fight if you hate blood and animal cruelty

    Go to Toledo

Go to the shop "Zara" and buy hot pants/shirt

    Get euros (currency in Spain)

  6. maps!

the roads in spain make no sense

also.. the sun is really bright and there isn't much shade so i think you should not get disposable cameras because you cant see how they actually come out that way.  almost all my pictures were drowned out by sun

    sun screen

buy a long skirt because thats what everyone wears over there

thin clothes- its humid and hot

and go to "el corte ingles" -- its a chain shopping mall

also see some of the mosques if you are going in the south

close your windows tight if you go to the south because it is soooooo loud at night there
