I'm going to Vancouver for the summer.. im just wondering what a typical summer job would pay?

  1. Minimum wage is $8/hr, and as someone else referenced, the stupid Liberals brought in the "training wage" of $6/hr...but that is mostly for teenagers, and seeing as there is such a HUGE shortage of workers in BC I don't think that any business would dare offer $6/hr.

    Construction workers can make a killing right now.. I"ve heard in the high $20's/hr...but that would depend on your skills, and the company that you're working for...

    Restaurants will probably pay about $9/hr as you are likely to make at least another $3/hr with tips...

    No idea what you would earn at a golf course.

  2. KFC  and White spot are in the union and pay well . lots of work  in construction  the Olympics are comming

  3. The training wage is $6 per hour. There are no part-time jobs here.
