So next month there's this really anticipated concert...and its my first time actually going to a concert where the tickets are being sold according to the seating location. I'm planning to buy a floor ticket which is around $150, and i was wondering for those who have gone to these types of concerts is there security or anyone making sure you do get your front floor seats? I just don't wanna buy such an expensive ticket just so that someone who paid around $30 to take my spot. Maybe I'm exaggerating but I could already imagine the long lines to get in and when I actually do get in all the front floor is going to taken by those who were in line 1st. =/ I wanna know just in case it does happen i could buy the cheapest ticket myself too. Any info will be appreciated thanks.

  1. chicken

  2. In all the concerts I've been to, anyone on the floor usually just pushes to the front.

  3. In California (I don't know where you are) they have ushers that won't let you into specific sections unless you have a ticket for the section.  They won't let you into a different section for any reason - even to visit a friend.  You can feel safe in purchasing the expensive tickets

  4. yes there will be event coordinators or security if u live in arkansas it will be the police. if there is someone in your seat ask them to move if they dont go get security

  5. The large guy with the shirt that says "event Staff" or "security"  they keep order and you get to keep yourr place.

  6. Hi there,

I am not sure where you are from but you may want to check out the ticket conditions which you can do thru the place you buy your ticket.  Often floor seats- as in the ones you are looking to purchase- are what are known as general admission tickets.  If that is the case, they are usually first in best dressed- that is, if you want to get a good spot, get there early.  SOmetimes, however, the whole concert may be allocated seating arrangements.  If that is the case, then yes, there will be security there etc to make sure you have the seat you purchased.  Make sure you check out the conditions first though.  However, by the sounds of it you should be okay in your concert seating arrangment- but better to be safe than sorry.  Good luck and enjoy!

  7. if you have a ticket with seat number that will be your seat and security will move anyone who sits there with the wrong ticket
