I'm going to a new school! :)?

Question

Okay, so this year we moved to another country, but I will be going to an American school. So I have to ride the bus for 20 minutes, should I try to make conversation with other people? Then my school is huge! How should I find my way around without getting lost? I only have 5 minutes to get to my first class! Do you have any opinions to help me?

I guess I have school anxiety, I get really nervous when things go wrong at school.

no dont talk to anyone on the bus because you may end up talking to some un freindly people and that will make things wourse and if your late for your first class who cares... your new to the school how are you supposed to know but if your really are concerned they have maps in most schools

I am sure your not the only one that is new, and someone will always help you around school. Yes you should make conversations on the bus how else will people get to know you!

I doubt you have school anxiety [whatever that is]. It is normal to be nervous. Anyway, you should start a conversation with someone. If they are rude, then find someone else to talk to! Don't let one person ruin your bus ride.

don't worry...make sure you get a school map before you arrive on your first day...look super good and pass friendly smiles to every one...your bound to make at least one friend

hey im going to a new school too and try and make friends thru sports/clubs thats what im doing but now for ur big questions. on the bus sit wherever u want and be ourself but when u hear about a topic u like chime in and people will listen and become friends. as for the school just ask ppl where 2 go theyll help

no way that exact same thing just happened to me! i just moved to london and am going to an american school. im wayyyy nervous and soo shy.. hopefully everything will go okay?? good luck!

definately talk to someone, ask a teacher where to go, or find someone who has the same lesson. best of luck to you

Well first of all... Welcome to America! Second of all..... You're going to hate it.... sorry.... the best I can tell you is to try and make convo with someone but most likely they will look at you like you're stupid..... because they are stupid... I hate school.... Bad memory's for me
