I'm going to a wedding, & Ive seen some gorge dresses but am I meant to keep a low profile and be modest?

I have shown my partner some of the dresses but her said, I cant wear any of them because its 'her day,' and the dresses are I like are too big, and will draw to much attention to me??!

I totally disagree I mean Im not the one getting married, the bride will be in a wedding dress Ill just be in some coloured ball gown / cocktail dress, like these

well that dress is to much

wear a dress that isnt bright pink [pale pink is good] and not puffy so a flat dress [ no bubble ]

That dress probably is too much to wear to a wedding. You don't need to keep a low profile, but you shouldn't wear anything that's too big and flashy like that. It is really pretty though. I'm sure one of the dresses that you liked is fine however, maybe something with a little bit smaller of a skirt? And office clothes would be too casual, definitely dress up more than that.

try bluefly.com, they've got designer clothing, and you can find some reasonably priced stuff. Also you could try the store and website forever 21, they've got cute stuff.

take it as a compliment, she thinks you might upstage her, anyway try and go for something a bit more understated, TKmaxx do fab dresses that arent to flashy but look fab good luck
