This will be my first interview with a modeling agency. I'm a 15 year old girl and I'm 5'11. What should I bring to the agency (pictures) I don't have any professional pictures or any pictures really up to date are pictures really necessary? What should I do to get the agents to notice me? Any other tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. oh and what do you think is better for a teen model to be in runway, editorial or commercial modeling.

  1. you do not get to choose whether ur in editorial runway or commercial modeling agents get u too audition when ur at the audition it is crucial for u to have up to date professional shots of your face and full body u have to bring a comp card this means u are serious DO NOT TAKE PICTURES ON A DIGITAL CAMERA especially for an agency like ford or elite model management im at elite and im 14 in toronto and they will turn u down trust me and do not show up in jeans a hoodie u must show up in shorts especiallly if ur that tall they want to see ur legs and wear a nice top any further questions e-mail me a pzimnicki@rogers.com

  2. I would bring any pictures that you have so you look prepared. No pictures look unprofessional and unprepared, where are pictures that are not as good just looks 'brand new.'

Make sure you look your best and wear solid colors, try to avoid black or white. No dangly earrings or gaudy jewelry. Make your makeup as natural as possible, cover any tats that you have and give plenty of energy when you meet them.

FYI.. print modeling is more common and easier on the nerves than runaway for starting out.
