  1. Act like yourself

At this school dress in the school uniform

    Ask anyone even the teachers

High school ain't like people say it is

    I just graduated

    Class of 2008

  2. Be yourself

    Dress like yourself

    Ask anyone, usually teachers

    Don't stress...

High school isn't hard and nobody cares what you wear.

  3. How to dress: Wear whatever *you* want (so long as it's appropriate for school ;P) that best fits your style. Don't fall into trends just for the sake of being trendy. Individuality is the best trend. :)

How to act: Be yourself. Trust me, if you act like someone else it will come back to get you later on. And you'll never be happy that way.

Who to ask for directions: Teachers, older relatives of your classmates, someone you trust. Oh, and by the way there is NEVER a pool on top of the school. Don't buy the pool pass, okay?

Just a piece of advice: Being a freshman is tough. You have to get used to being at a different school with different people and harder classes. It feels impossible sometimes, but the experience CAN be a good one (or so I've heard). So long as you're always true to yourself and you have your priorities in order, you'll be fine. Hope this helps! :)

  4. Act like yourself, dress how you usually dress, ask anyone who doesn't look like they'll kill you (which is pretty much everyone) for directions, focus on schoolwork, not boys/friends, live life, have fun, be you, let it happen.  Good luck.

  5. The most important asset is a smile.

You might get a head start by observing what others do and see how you fit in.   What do they wear?  How do they act?  Most people are more concerned with themselves than what you are doing anyway so it is easy to observe.  You may wish to go unnoticed for a few days while you settle in.

Go in with a positive upbeat attitude.  Be friendly and approachable.  I usually wait until I am comfortable with people before expressing my views and getting too chummy.

Remember that many others are as nervous and even more nervous that you are on your firt few days of school.  Good luck and have fun!!!
