I'm going to be a lifeguard this summer....?

What should I bring on the job? I know to bring sunscreen and water to keep hydrated, but is there anything else I should bring to help me out in the hot sun all day? Thanks!

  3. A towel to sit on.

  4. DO NOT TAKE A BOOK OR A IPOD there are swimmers that are trusting there lives in your hands.

    You need:

    A whistle

    SUNSCREEN(very important)

    a visor or cap

    a towel in case you need to jump in after someone

    and some sunglasses to protect your eyes

  5. May be I'm a little more traditional but I do not think a book and and I pod is what you would want to see the lifegaurd doing when u r suppoed to be saving lives!!! DAHhhhh

    If the property doens't provide a small Rx kit I would surely bring some small first aide kit. H2O2 and some band aides. Littl ones always feel better when they have a cute band aide onif there was to be some sort of emergency.

    Sunscreen a ''given'''. U will tan thru that stuff :-)

  10. A hat and some sun glasses never forget to take 5 or 10 min rest if it is vary hot so call every one out of the watter.
