I have the grades and community service, but I need leadership. Does anyone have any ideas?

Especially if you were/are in NHS.

  1. contact your school counselor and ask them what to do. They should know everything about that stuff.

  2. apply for summer jobs as shift manager.  explain in your app.

sometimes small business will do this.  I had no work experience and managed a tanning salon.

best of luck.  Keep your grades up.

  3. I'm going to be a junior next year. But anyway....I wonder how do you get leadership skills. Maybe by setting examples? I'm not really sure but I'm trying to get into the NHS myself.

  4. Become involved in yours schools athletics or look for for an organization that you are interested in and become a member. If you are very involved in that organization you are almost promised to get an officer position after the next elections. Good luck.
