  1. It is possible to make friends in singing class, but you have to make the effort.  Anyplace you go where you are around people you have an opportunity to make friends.  That is one of the nice things about home schooling, you can make friends anywhere and are not confined to being with 25 other kids your own age from your neighborhood.

  2. Of course it's possible. Do try to do more than just singing class if you want to make friends and socialize. There's a lot of stuff out there to be done!

  3. Yeah you will meet friends, but chances of getting a boyfriend when you're homeschooled is decreased.

  4. Chances of getting a boyfriend if you're homeschooled are NOT decreased. I'm homeschooled in highschool and I've had the same boyfriend, a public schooler mind you, for two years and counting.

Yes, it's possible to make friends in singing class if you make the effort and actually introduce yourself and be social. I took individual guitar and piano lessons, and I made friends just sitting in the waiting room waiting for my teacher to be ready for me. And by friend I don't mean just people I chat with once or twice. I've gone places with them, had them over to my house, went over to theirs, went to parties of theirs, invited them to parties I've had, email and IM now and then, etc. Just be yourself and let people get to know you and make an effort to get to know others. It's easy to make friends when you're homeschooled.

You might also want to look into joining your local homeschool group. You most likely have at least one in your area. These groups are great. They offer group classes in things like art, drama, chemistry, photography, just things that are harder to do at home on your own or things the group shows interest in and decides on. They offer clubs, some sports, activities, field trips, outings, park days, parties, dances, prom, and lots more, and if there's something your group doesn't offer and you want it, you're usually more than welcome to start it yourself or at least make the suggestion to someone else. Definitely look into this. School IS NOT><IS NOT><IS NOT the only place you can make friends, and you'll figure this out very soon.

  5. Of course! It's possible to make friends wherever you go! I'm home schooled as well, actually, and I've found that you've got to involve yourself in different things, like sports, or clubs, or a local home school group.

    Good luck!

  6. It is possible. It just depends on the type of class you are attending.
