I normally just jog alone while listening to music on my ipod. Do I need my ipod if I'm jogging with someone?

  1. depends on how well you know the person.

if running with your ipod helps you to focus more then, sure, bring it but keep it at a low volume and still talk with your running partner (they might just need you to keep them focused). and if you can still focus and run well without your ipod then i'd say leave it at home. spend the time talking with the other person and benefiting from their company.

  2. If you are jogging with a friend, here's a novel idea, talk to them and leave the I-Pod home.

  3. sure

  4. sure, if your partner is a really boring person to be around. Otherwise, bad- idea.

  5. Well, it gets really hard to talk when you run. So, bring the i-pod and keep the volume low in case someone has something to say!

  6. I wouldn't listen to the music if I was going to run with someone.  My expeirence with running is when someone sees me wearing headphone, they wouldn't want to talk to me.  If I was going to run alone, music will make the miles go by faster.

  7. id think not!

because it might sound very rude!

like ud be listening to ur music and the other person might be talking to u and u wont understand one thing they've said!

or u might answer rong and it might make them feel hurt!

so yeah!dont take it with u!

gd luck and hope i helped!

  8. i had the same problem. i started jogging with my neighbor not to long ago before i jogged by myself with my ipod the first time i brought my ipod and put it on really low volume. and it helped with the back ground noise but still allowed me to talk.

and then some days when i am jogging with her i decide not to bring my ipod. because really jogging with another person takes place of the ipod because it motivates you.

so i would do w/e you feel like.

  9. i'd bring mine but keep it's volume lower so I could hear the person I was jogging with if they started to talk.

  10. Its up to you.  Sometimes talking when you are running gets annoying, but others find it relaxing.  You could always bring it and keep the volume low.

You may not end up talking at all, and just both listening to music.

Also, if you dont bring your ipod....just thinking about things and relaxing is fun.

  11. Yes bring it. You don't have to turn it on right away. Keep it off for a short spell. If the two of you stop talking then turn it on. Or if you need

that extra motivation then turn it on low enough so that you can hear the other person talking to you.

  12. not if jogging with a partner! thats why i prefer to jog alone, u can tune in and switch off and forget the world. the idea of partner jogging is to keep each other motivated, meaning u gotta make small talk. gutted!
