  1. Im a guy and if I were to buy a GPS I would buy the Garmin. The reason is from hersay, ease of use and the fact that Garmin were the first company to release a GPS and therefore been around the longest. Hope this helps.


  2. Both the Garmin Nuvi and TomTom lines of GPS devices are very good and almost have exactly the same features.

    The Garmin however does allow some really cool customizations like changing your vehicle icon that is displayed on screen and the TomTom has a low quality icon that is displayed on the screen.

    Other than that not too much sets the two lines of GPS devices apart.

    I would identify a model that you like and had the features that you want in both the Garmin and the TomTom and then compare the prices on them.

  3. okay idk which one my unlce has.. i think he has  garmin but anyways we were driving home at night.and he was taking us to our house and it dropped us off 5 houses down from where we live.and we typed in the correct address and everything.lol so i would go with tomtom
