where and how am going to receive the money for college and when do i have to pay it back?

  1. If you did the fafsa application, the school will get your money to pay for your tuition and fees and books and such.  If you get loans, you usually have to start paying them back within six months after you drop out of college or graduate.


  2. if it is a scholarship you dont pay it back and the school will just deduct it from the price you pay. if it is a grant then they will pay for your college under certain conditions and you dont pay them back and the school will deduct that as well. if you take out a loan then you can do it through the school, they will tell you you are eligible to recieve a loan and you choose to accept it and do the paperwork and the bank will start giving the money straight to the school you dont do anything then after you are done with college you have to start paying it back like 6 months after you graduate. at least thats how mine is. they will tell you all of that when you sign the loan papers. the school can also answer any of your questions. when you get a bill for the semester it will have all the money you are already getting and then what you have left to pay.
