I'm going to die if I don't take care of this ant problem?

I am an apartment dweller with 2 cats. I know that the most simple thing to do would be to call the managmetn company but they are slow to respond and this needs to end.

I have an ant problem only when food is left on the floor (cat food dish)

I am thinking of using home defense is it safe for pets.

What the duck? Yeah, like ants are going to eat you in your sleep.

Just call someone. That would be easier and safer than harming your pets. (yes, spray will harm your cats.)

Mix Borax with icing sugar  50/50 place small amount in small dishes where pets cant get at it .Ants will be gone in 2-3 days garanteed

try placing cucumber peelings where your ants are coming in.  I have seen ants walk 2 feet around them, but they will not cross them.  I have no idea why, but it works.

Home defence is safe for pets,or try filling a squirt bottle with white vinegar, and squirt it where you've seen ants (kitchen counters, windowsills, etc) and let it dry. It's non-toxic, won't harm anything, and the smell will soon go away.
