  1. The Post office - Comission free :)

  2. go to your bank, and you can order them there. that's what i did, they will probably charge you around $15 for the transaction as well as the currency difference. Right now  1 euro is abou $1.54  cheers and good luck on your trip.

  3. You can order Euros at your bank before you leave, or get them at the airport. Either way, you are going to have to pay fees - normally a percentage of what you change.  My advice would be to put the money into your credit card before you leave and use it while you are in Germany. You can also get money from ATMs using your debit card - again with fees

  4. Almost any bank can change money for you.  Otherwise at the airport when you get there.

  5. Make sure you plan in advance. While you are in Germany you can use your ATM card as well at Sparkasses (German ATM) As long as your card is a visa or master. FYI the Exchange rate sucks! I am living in Germany now and its no fun at all to exchange money!
