  1. no 1 - u cant spray or neutre a dog till 6months is recommended.  if they did humpo this young the female will not get pregnant.  i got 2 pups at the same time and i think its easier to be honest as they always have company so do not become bored and destructive when u go out and they are not needing constant attension from u as they play with each other!!  don't keep them apart but maybe think about spraying or neutering 1.  they will be best of buddies and good luck and enjoy ur dogs!

  2. Everything 'BYB's suspended me - lol' has told you is exactly right. Basically, in the eyes of those pups, you will not be part of their gang. They will take food from you and that will be it. There will be no bond between dog (s) and owner. I wouldn't do it if I were you.

I breed dogs and on NO circumstances would  sell two pups to one owner at the same time or within a few months of each other.

  3. Why don't you be a responsible pet owner and get them spayed and neutered? When they are that young it's WAY cheaper then when they are older, especially if they are a large breed dog.

  4. personally having kept two dogs (male and female) from the same litter it is hard work. you can't train them together as one will always play up the best thing to do if you want two dogs is to get them a few months apart (at least) then you can concentrate on training one at a time and you can get the first one neutered before the next one is ready to breed so will stop any it is normal for puppies to hump each other as it is a sign of who is the dominant one, but if you want two puppies at the same time the best thing you can do is to separate them when you are training so you have their full attention to listen to you

  5. It's not recommended to get two puppies together.  It's a recipe for disaster.  Training becomes nearly impossible.  They bond to each other.  You won't know who peed on the couch, who tore up your new shoes, etc.

Most good breeders will not sell two puppies at the same time.  So if you've found one that will, that should tell you something about the breeder and the quality of the dogs.

As far as "humping", there are two reasons for this behaviour.  One is sexual, one is dominance.

If you insist on getting two puppies at once, then one needs to be fixed before entering the house.  You don't sound like you have proper dog experience, so unless you do this, you'll likely end up with a dog that's pregnant far too young.

  6. Get them fixed and it will solve the issue of heats, behavioral issues and pregnancies. You will then have no worries.

  7. Yes, they most likely will hump,it is aniaml nature, but by them growing up around each other it will become just a phase. No, just more mess! And MORE LOVE!

  8. Taking care of two dogs is twice the trouble. Especially when dealing with puppies. I would not recommend getting two puppies at once, most people can't handle them. Females go into heat as early as six months. So there's no immediate threat of her going into heat. But get them both fixed ASAP, accidents happen.

  9. just get them spayed and neutered right when you get them.

when they are younger it is not as much money.

it can also depend on the breed too.

  10. yeah itll be fine

  11. yeah you can keep them together..And no they won't get 'exited'

  12. Buying 2 puppies from the same litter or of the same age is really not a good idea. They need to be trained seperately which, of course, takes twice as long, they will bond together and prefer to play with each other rather than listen to you. You will need to get at least one of them neutered before they are 6 months old and they may still hump unless you train them not to.

  13. If the puppies are brother and sister this shouldn't happen

  14. It would be better to get them at seperate times.

  15. Get them both done at the vets, atleast if they hump then, the female puppy wont become pregnant :) x

  16. 4 months old? Yeah, they should be alright. But fix them, would you?

  17. I have seen puppies about that age hump each other. You might want to spay or neuter one asap if you don't want puppies.
