I'm going to mt. st. helens tomorrow???

Question

I'm not into camping, or hiking, or fishing? What are some fun, cheap, easy to do things that a must see/do in the park? I'm taking a picnic lunch so I don't need resturant ideas.

I'm not sure if you've already gone or not, but the most beautiful part of the Mt. St. Helen's area is Coldwater Lake (in my opinion).  I would highly recommend stopping there and taking a walk around the lake.

You won't find a restaurant near the mountain so don't worry about that.  All that's there for you if you don't want to explore hiking trails is visiting the Johnston Ridge Visitor Center where you get a nice, up close look at the mountain and learn about its volcanic history.
