I'm going to ocean city md. does anyone know a decent ocean front hotel on the board walk? reasonably priced?

i want to be on the boardwalk but does anyone know where the best street or center of the strip is? also i need a clean hotel nothing fancy but on the beach.i want to be near the night life. any nice lounges/bars you can suggest? anyway i've never been there before so i appreciate any tips you may have. thanks in advance!

There is a Comfort Inn and a Quality Inn right on the boardwalk. Probably least expensive of all. Visit www.ocean-city.com for information. And you will be within walking distance (staggering distance) of a few bars down there. (Purple Moose Saloon, Seacrets - have to ride the bus) They do provide bus service pretty much all night also.
