I'm going to pick up a queen size mattress, I was wondering if I need a truck or I can tie it onto my car?

it's about 40 miles away....at first i was thinking i need to rent a truck but my friend suggests that i can just tie it to the top of my car...which im not sure about because im worried its not safe. my car is a mazda millenia, 4 door mid size sedan

what do you think/suggest?

If it's got castors tie it on the back,has it got brakes.    codger

they won't deliver it, or is it used. get a friend that needs to go that way and see if they will help

Well it depends if the queen size is really big then u need a truck  but if the mattress can fit on top of ur car then u should just tie it up on ur car

I think I would think about the LAW. It may not be worth getting a ticket over, it being tied ,on the top of your car. I do really believe, it's against the law........................I would definitely get a truck. Maybe, you have a friend, that will help you.( Loan you a truck) Forty miles is quite a ways away. You probably would run into the law ,then that would cost you money. It may not be too safe either.............................

A queen-sized mattress is BIG. Get a truck: It would be far safer.

Always assume the worst when you are doing something like that,,, There is no such thing as safety overkill...Truck is the safest way...

yeah, i'm sure it'll fit on top of your car. i did it.

you could use your car, but you would be better off using a truck. if you decide to use your car tie down the mattress with some ratchet straps
