I'm going to school...alone?

Help i'm starting school today very soon and i'm so worried about school and everything. I'm going there by myself and i'm going to be there by myself since my friends are not going to the same highschool as me. I'm scared of being alone or rejected by others?

Being a freshman, i'm afraid that i'm going to get lost on my way to class and i have no idea who to sit with at lunch etc...I don't know how to make friends or start talking to people. I'm shy and i'm sure that doesn't help =[

Has anyone been in this situation before where they're completely alone and have to start talking to random people and making friends themselves?

Any tips? Help please?

  1. your not going to be the only kid at school today feeling the same way. and everyone is going to be excited about starting high school so you have a really good chance that in class they'll start talking to you. maybe introducing themselves or just giving you a smile. you'll meet people eventually. you might or might not meet anyone today. but within a few days you'll meet some friends. dont worry. you should be happy. its a fresh start.

  2. its normal, i used to go different school year because i moved a lot.

first of all, u must smile a lot :) when i say a lot, i mean a lot. this will attract people and they might think ure friendly. and try not to be shaky and shy, people will think ure weird. take it easy. its not tht hard actually. and try to talk to them about interests etc/

    good luck!

  3. don't  feel  shy  make  freinds  who  are  near  by  2  ur  home  /  ......................

  4. I have been in that situation many times.

but fear not, for there are some people that will be friendly towards you on your first day. They should come up to you and initiate conversation so don't worry.

    good luck :)
