I'm going to see Mamma Mia, the play at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Vegas. What should I wear?

I have this purple silk dress with sheer black on it and flowers. It's sleeveless. Is this a good outfit, like is it formal enough, or too formal? I'm more of a casual dress person so I was just wondering. Also, how can I wear my hair (I have hair a little bit longer than shoulder length/brown). And how can I wear my makeup (I have brown eyes, white to tan skin).

Possibly too formal, unless you're going to a fancy dinner beforehand. You don't have to dress up for shows in Vegas. I usually wear jeans and a simple top.
