I'm going to see the De La Hoya fight live at the home depot center. How can i get De La Hoya's autograph?...

i've saw Julio Cesar Chavez jr. fight live at the staples center, but one of the guards said i needed a pass to go close to the ring. Should i make a run for it and try to get an autograph by force or what?...how can i get an autograph from De La Hoya?

My autograph collection is my personal pride and joy.  I've spent years compiling hundreds and hundreds of autographs from various events in boxing.  It's pretty rare to get a signature from a top-tier celebrity like Oscar at a live event.  He's trying to get into "fight mode" and that doesn't involve Sharpies and fan photos.  

The best place to get an autograph of a famous fighter is at the weigh-in the night before the event.  It's usually open to the public and the fighters are usually somewhat accessible.  

The basic rule of thumb is DON'T LOOK LIKE YOUR A SUPERFAN, just trying to score a photo-op or a signature.  You're the first type of person that security is looking to kick out.  Look for JACKETS (not t-shirts) that say the name of the fighter you're looking for. . . they're usually part of his entourage.  If you can think on your feet and look calm (like you belong). . . .you'll find success.  

Be sure to thank him if you get it. . . and keep in mind that Oscar can't walk ten feet most days without someone putting a camera and a Sharpie in his face.

you won't get one at his fight, no one gets near the fighters before or after the fight...sorry man not a chance, try gettin one from him at a time that he's not about to fight

best time to get an autograph is after the fight....rite after they had their post fight interview.....its better to wait....i did when i saw both marquez brothers in lake tahoe....but then again they are family!....lol.....good luck bro....
