  1. Prepare to FREEZE in Melbourne and be bored as hec in Adelaide. If you must choose, I'd say go to Melbourne. There's more to do, plenty of good coffee and shopping and the ski fields are only a few hours drive away.  It may be a bit cheaper in Adelaide, but keep in mind it really is a small town.

  2. Adelaide will be warmer and cheaper.

Melbourne will be cold but has much more to do. If you shop around you can get accomodation cheap, try Quest on Burke they have apartments for around $150 a night if not cheaper.

  3. Adelaide's got a cheaper cost of living, but holidaying, I don't know.  Brisbane's got the theme parks, Melbourne's got the big smoke (and crazy weather) and Adelaide's smaller and a bit of a mix of the two.  Adelaide's got nice surrounding countryside (and winetasing) and Melbourne's got... yeah, I don't remember it being much that interested me... It's close to other cities though, closer than Adelaide.

  4. You should go to Denver.

  5. Probably Adelaide, but don't expect excitement. What did you do that was so bad to get sent to Oz in July and August?
