  1.   Some say that contacts slow your eyes from getting worse more than glasses, but you'll also need to decide between rigid and soft lenses. Rigid ones last longer but are more expensive, and soft ones are more comfortable and cheaper but last for only about 2 weeks.

If you feel responsible enough to get contacts, then go for it. But glasses are easier to care for, and you're already used to them. You should talk to your doctor more about deciding which choice is better for you.

  2. I was in the same boat a few years back and here's what my mom suggested. "If you don't need glasses at the time/full time then get glasses, once you need glasses full time get contacts." So now I have glasses that I don't wear all the much cause I just really don't need to and won't waste money on contacts until I absolutely need them.

  3.    I  have  had  both  contacts and  glasses for over  10 yrs.

You   could ask  the   doctor  to  give you  one  or  two    trial  pairs of  contact  lenses....and  wear the  contacts for  a  week or  two    to  see if  you  like  them.

Also  ask  doc  to write  a prescription for   eyeglasses,   AND a   prescription for contact lenses.

Eye   doc's  will  very  often  do this  for  you.

  4. I don't wear any glasses nor have any contacts, but here is my honest opinion from seeing it from others.

Glasses are alright, but you have to worry about having them get stepped on or someone knocking them off of you.

Contacts will fit right into your eyes and it will seem like you don't have anything.  You don't have to worry about anyone stepping on them or knocking them off your face, or even you doing it.  Plus if you are self conceited of how you look, then the contacts would be your best bet.  They should be easy to adjust to and the comfort should be good.
