All toilet paper in Greece goes into a bin, just remember don't throw it in the corner when you get home, have a great time, tingaki is fab

Most of the smaller hotels in Greece have this system. Don't worry you will get used to it. They will provide you with a pedal bin with a lid on top so all of your toilet paper will be out of sight, and your maid will empty it every day.

a lot of places in that part of the world have basic plumbing and can't cope with toilet paper etc so they provide a bin which you place your used paper in.Most larger complexes have toilet systems that can cope with normal flushing as do some restaurants,so you can always find somewhere with'proper flushing toilets'
