Heys Guys !! Hope you can help a not electronical literate gal here. I am going to the 600 this weekend and I purchased one of those radios (NASCAR Uniden) used that you can listen to the crews BUT it doesn't have an instruction booklet and I don't have a clue how to find the frequency/channel to us it !! Can anyone tell me how in the easiest way to use this thing when I get to the speedway ?!!! Thanks

  1. When you get to the track just stop by a "racing electronics"  trailer.  They will be happy to program all the necessary channels for a small fee.  You'll get all the truck, Nationwide, Sprint Cup, safety crew, race control, television and radio frequencies in a matter of minutes as long as you have the capacity to save all those channels..  They'll also be happy to show you how to program yourself and give you a listing of the most updated frequencies being used.  They do change often.

Don't forget your headphones.  I did once.  If you have a friend you can buy a "Y" jack for a couple dollars to plug another set of headphones in also.

    Have fun.
