  1. A good start would be a large poster  at school

Then locate your recycling center and ask if they will do pick ups

you will need at least 3 big bins

    one for plastic bottles

    two for just paper

three for scraps of food, they can be composted in a bin and later used on the gardens so ask you school Gardner.

I wish you luck and I think your really smart in starting some thing like this

  2. 2 SUGGESTIONS (1) ask school board to donate proceeds from recycling bins to a specific school program to ease schools budget. that should get their attention. (2) ask school board to donate proceeds to worthy cause (of YOUR choosing not theirs) school boards tend to take you more seriously when you approach them with a COMPLETE plan, so decide where you want the $$$ to go B-4 you approach them. the less work they have to do, the more they will like your plan. take your ideas to the SCHOOL BOARD if your principle says no. the school board usually makes final decisions on school matters. who knows, maybe they will like your idea enough to put your ideas to work in ALL of the schools in your district. NOW THAT WOULD BE COOL!

    good luck!

  3. Contact the recycling officer at your local council - they usually want to help and may have funds available. They may also know what has been done in other secondary schools.

  4. tell your best friend o help you.

You and your friends start an environmental club   and try to attract people to come to the club by going out with them and being their friends

  5. At my school, the environmental club has started a recycling program.  Unfortunately, we only have beens in certain classrooms, not in the halls or anything.  Also, it is expensive to get bins, we are trying to get a company to sponsor us, but are having trouble.  So my advice would be to either start an environmental club (if there is is one, join it) and suggest this.  Then ask teachers to put out a box, a small cardboard one works fun, in their classrooms and pick them up every week.  Hopefully, then it will grow and maybe you can use the money from recycling to buy real bins.

  6. Just call your local recycling center and ask them for info. At the least they will provide you with bins.  They may even send someone out to do an educational speech.

  7. you go girl

get a teacher you like to help you, it will make things a lot easier.

You might have to start a club. In my high school, the kids with special needs would come to each class and actually empty our recycling bins.

  8. seek assistance with your local tri-media
