  1. Make sure you have your weight shifted towards the back when you start out.

Also you need to make sure you're holding on tight. Don't try to leave the wake or do any tricks

    Good Luck man

  2. Once you are up and riding.  Keep the handle at your hips, not out in front of you at shoulder level.  Let the boat pull you.  Get used to just carving until you are feeling comfortable to hit the wake.  If you want to go big, use a progressive edge to maximize your pop.  What this means is to start your approach to the wake slow and controlled.  As you get just about at the wake wash, put the board hard on edge.  This will ensure maximum line tension as you edge through the wake.  Edge all the way through the wake and you will get bucked up into the air.  Be looking for the landing on the other side and remember to keep the handle at your hips and the boat will do all the work.

Make sure you and your driver are on the same page.  If this is your first time, tell the driver to keep the boat in the teens, until you are comfortable to up the speed to around 21 mph.

And one other thing, have fun, but beware, it is addictive... Good luck.

  3. Keep your weight shifted back and also have fun.

  4. Be careful, trust your driver, and be able to swim.
