I'm going to write a letter to the K-1 and Pride producer/matchmaker?

His name is Sadaharu Tanigawa and I found out that letters can be sent to him in person to request to participate in the K-1 ring.

One of my instructor who once entered the K-1 told me that I have enough status to enter(not the major division though). So I decided to instead of participating in the K-1 try out which anybody can enter, I chose to write a letter to him. If you were me, how would you start off your letter, and/or what would you write to him.

  1. write one to the AFL too,,, they would make you a highpaid starting QB!!!!

    Pride is gone,,(like the AFL),,

Dana bought'em out and shut it down,,,,  you are the PERFECT example of the uninformed, seen one fight fan,,,

    go awaaaaaaay

  2. Send a video of yourself - highlight clips from your best fights.  If you look impressive to him, you're more likely to be seen as a fighter.  Anybody can write a letter - Pride isn't looking for letter writers, just fighters.

With your video, send him your stats - major fights won, your record, experience, etc.  Take a look at any fighters online bio and get some idea of what yours should look like.  It should be one page, no more.

If you haven't had your fights taped, enter some small competitions and have someone tape them.  There are tons of local "toughman" type contests in nearly every state.

    Good luck.
