And I already have issues with not getting enough vitamins and nutrients. What vitamins should I start taking when I cut meat out of my diet?

  1. Women's Essentials and Men's Essential Vitamins provide a full compliment of vitamins and minerals and they also provide women with Seratonin and men with Dopamine.  Dr. John Grey in his book The Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution talks about how men have significant amounts of Seratonin and limited amounts of Dopamine which is exactly the opposite with women -- which is why men want to go into their cave at the end of the day, play video games, or watch sports and why women on the other hand, need to talk and eat chocolate. 2. I agree with what the other people have said. Especially about the multivitiamin. May I ask why, though?? What is so bad about meat? (I don't mean to sound rude or anything, just curious.)

  3. nothing... until you feel the symptoms of definency.

(Don't take extra pills unless you know you need them. Just get a simple multivitamin if you have to, and if you start feeling anemic then look into buying an iron pill and maybe even a b12 pill)

Just make sure you are eating a VARIETY of foods, ESPECIALLY fruits, veggies, and WHOLE GRAINS. Nothing with preservatives. Get the good, whole, organic stuff. You'll thank yourself later.

    Good luck!

  4. First of all, it is "vegetarian". Meat is not the source of vitamins, but of proteins (together with all kinds of nasty by-products)

So, going vegetarian you'll have plenty of vitamins in fruit and vegetables.

It wouldn't harm if you checked out a few websites to get further information about what to eat and what not. For example: http://www.vegsoc.org/info/goingveg.html

  5. jus take a multivitamin.  you may lack in protein at first.

one a day for women's works for me.

eat more nuts...loaded with good fats, beans and lentils and legumes, dark leafy greens are a good source of protein.  drink milk and eat yogurt for calcium and don't overfill on carbs!
