I'm gonna buy a PS3 :]?

Im not really a hardcore gamer, all I have so far is a Wii and PS2 (broken though). Im going to buy a PS3 tomorrow: the new 80gb that costs $399.99 or the bundle with MGS4 for $499.99?

1. It's basically me and my little brother who's gonna play

2. We occasionally might play online.

3. If we buy the one that costs 399.99 me and my brother's gonna buy two games.

4. If we buy the bundle we're just gonna buy one game.

5. The cheaper is one is alright but a lot of features was taken out.

6. The bundle is also alright but that things expensive.

7. We're both trying to save money, but if a lot of people would recommend the bundle, we'd gladly buy it.

8. We both have $300 (total of $600), but im a little bit uptight about my money coz i, basically, save it for emergencies (e.g. dates or if i forgot to buy a gift)

So could anyone help me choose?

  1. Well the bundle can Play 80% of PS2 games(You can go to sony and see which games work)

+ It comes with Metal Gear Solid 4, which is a really good game.

    Money comes and money goes.

    Well The differences:

    The MGS4 Bundle:

    -4 Usb ports

    -A Copy of MGS4

    - A Free game("Pain") download from PSN

    -Flash card readers

-Can Play 80% or PS2 games

    The Core ps3:

    2 usb ports

    No Flash Card readers

No PS2 games can be played

Online is free on the PS3, Most likely you will play more than you think you will.

Both PS3's Can play PS1 games.

  2. before buy it buy it from ebay it is too expencive

  3. but if you buy one game with the bundle you still get 2 games. an you get to still play your ps2 games with the bundle. get the bundle.

  4. the 80 gb seems like a good choice or u can wait for the 160 gb that will be out this november with uncharted drakes fortune and a dualshock controller also it will be 500 bucks

  5. the mgs4 bundle, it can play some, but not all, of your ps2 games. where as the core pack will not. unless that doesnt matter to you. the only difference between the mgs4 and the core is the ps2 backwards compatibility, and the game, they both have the dual shock 3, so thats not a big deal.

    happy hunting
