I'm going to get a dwarf hamster. I'm wondering which type would be best for me though. I don't really care about how aggressive they are, I won't be handling them much. Should I get a Dalmation, Roborovski, Black Russian, etc...

  1. Roborovski there tiny

  2. one thats helpless and has a big enough a*****e for your p***s or your husbands p***s or your sons p***s.

  3. I recomend these two hamsters:

Roborovskis are really cute and small.

Syrians are very cute and active.

  4. i think the best are dwarfs and roborvski hamsters

  5. Dalmation's are just a coloring of dwarfs, they have no effect on there behaivor. Chinese(if you can find them) are like mice and will climb on your hand. Robo's are really speedy and more for watching than handling. Campbells are nice and sweet. If your not going to handle them then get two but make sure they dont fight.

  6. you should get the cutest one and  i like dalmation

  7. no offense, but why would you even want a hamster you dont plan on handling much? Are you doing a science project or something?

if you get a hamster at all you should get it to keep as a loved pet.

i've heard robos are the sweetest of all. but if you dont care about aggression then it doesn't really matter. they're all cute... and other than that... all you have to really look for is healthiness...

  8. look up their behaviors on the internet. just google it, and pick which is best for you.

  9. dalmation. they

    are adorable!

  10. You should get whaterever one is cheapest and the haeltheist.

  11. get  a Chinese dwarf hammy handle them with care they are adorable

  12. well my bff got a black russian dwarf hamster and he isnt aggresive and he is adorable....so i would suggest that!! hope i could help!!

  13. Dwarf hamster species - Campbells, Winter Whites, Robovorski, and Chinese

Any other name is either an outdated/incorrect usage or a marketing gimmick by your pet store.

The "Types of Hamsters" section on http://www.hamsterific.com/DwarfHamsters... has good information about the different species.

  14. If you aren't going to be handling them much, Roborovski would probably be the best. When you have more than one, they are a lot of fun to watch in their cage. You'd probably want one of them since they are pretty much the most interesting ones to watch instead of handle. Be warned though, they're very fast little things.
