I'm scared to used a tampon, and I would'nt know how to use it my mom uses pads so she would not be able to help me. How can I still enjoy my trip and not let my period ruin it for me?

  1. im 15

DEFINITELY use tampons. you will never go back to pads..

you cant even feel them and its like you can completely forget about your period.

its easy and not painful to put them in

  2. Pads are evil things; you bring those on your trip, and your period WILL ruin your trip for sure.  Get over your fear of tampons and use them.  Just relax, follow the lovely diagrams, and you should be fine.

I was scared my first time too.  I over thought everything and almost never did it.  But finally, I just got fed up and did it.

You gotta relax, take deep breaths, and shove it in. =]

  3. Theres nothing to be scared about when using a tampon. Its probally going to be the only thing to Save your vacation.Cause you cant swim with a pad on and you def. don't want to swim without one. Talk with your mom about it and let her know of your feelings and she'll help you. Have fun!!!! Tampax Pearl are the best!!!!!

  4. well. the only way i know possible is to wear a tampon. Im more than sure your mom knows how to use one. Just ask her about it.

  5. Oh that sucks. This is what happens when you become a woman. Mwahahahaha!!!!

    Just kidding =).

Use o.b. tampons. They slip right in, are very small and give you good protection. You can find them at Walmart, Target or any place that sells tampons.

  6. Just carry a small backpack and an extra pair of shorts in your backpack. Try using tampons.. it won't be that bad. Bring some midol and keep hydrated. You'll be fine!

  7. Don't worry about it sweetie.

Just wear pads and if you can, don't go swimming.

I don't wear tampons either, I feel dirty or something wearing them.

I'm sure you wouldn't want it to ruin your trip, but have the time of your life, and wear BIG pads because you can't always find a bathroom when you need one there.

Bring extra supplies and always be prepared.

Best of luck, send me an email if you have any more questions!

  8. tampons are sooo much better, just get 1s with a plastic applicator, patex sport is a good 1... they are comfy... and i heard that drinking alcohol, and exercizing makes ur period come early, but idk if its the combonation of the two that works or if u culd just execize... so i would exercize, and buy some tampons.  Try putting them in at home for practice, so u will know how to when u are in the disney bathrooms lol

    Good luck & enjoy disney!!!

    TAKE TAMPONS

  10. Tampons and Midol. Tampons are really not as scary as everyone makes them out to be. My mom uses pads and she didn't help me with tampons.  Ask you're mom to buy you some (if you're close) But if not try to buy some yourself. Read the directions. Relax!!! Relax!! Relax!! and then you should be fine. After using them a few times you'll be a tampon master.

Good luck! Periods always know how to come at the right times?
