I'm gonna put a micron racing exhaust on my sv , and Ive been told that it could add another 10bhp?

how much more top end would it have ? can you convert bhp to mph ?

  1. To be honest, unless you are a real riding god on a track, its not going to make that much of a noticeable difference.

    Having said that, It will sound and look a lot better than a standard can.


  2. Maybe 4-5mph more than at present.  

    It takes around 40 bhp (at the wheel)on an unfaired bike to do 100mph, it takes 160+ bhp to do 200mph on the same bike, you do the math.

    Micron are a cheap brand anyway, out of the box with no re jetting you will only get 5 ish BHP gain. 2 hours on a rolling road after a re mapping / re jetting kit and you may push an extra 5 on top of that.

    For pure power outputs gain (if money is no object) look at an AKRAPOVIC.
