I'm gonna swap my 95 960 eng. to a 96 960, when i do that will the 96 eng. code pop-up and i have to clear it?

any codes will clear while the battery is disconnected during the swap.

you should not have to swap any other injection parts

note i ran into a air conditioning compressor mounting problem once,
