  1. it depends how the operation went.

two weeks at the latest to eat.

water with a straw should be fine soon

  2. USUALLY YOU MAY SIP SLOWLY AFTER THE ANESTHETIC WEARS OFF AND EATING SOFTER FOODS IS ALSO THEN PERMISSIBLE.

  3. You can drink water immidiately after your surgery. If you're taking pain pills you need to drink extra water also. You can eat the same day even a few hours after. Just focus on soft foods. I ate ice cream as soon as I was hungry again. You can have jello, pudding, apple sauce, anything that doesn't need to be chewed. It took me over a week to get back to eating "normal" foods again.

  4. two weeks ull be eating fine

  5. It really depends on how it went.  When I had my wisdom teeth removed over a year ago, it went really well.  I only took one pain pill afterwords and actually ate Fazolis that evening (about 8-10 hours later).  It was just pasta (cut up very small) and a breadstick (torn up), but I did eat a whole meal.  The following day I ate Subway for lunch.  I ate some pudding and applesauce just a couple hours after getting them removed.  If you drink anything, don't drink through a straw...it can pull out the blood clots forming and you can get dry socket, which I've heard is very, very painful.  I've also heard some people say that it may be several days before they feel like eating.  I'd say you can eat or drink as soon as you feel up to it and the numbing has worn off so you don't accidentally bite yourself.

  6. usually they tell you not to eat for that day, next day will be alright, just don't drink any hot liquids until the wound where the molars used to be heal,or they could start bleeding again.next day stick to eating soft foods only because you may forget and bite down on the soft spot and it will really hurt if it was something hard.

  7. Your surgeon really should have gone through this with you before you were discharged but you can drink water straight away (if you don't you'll get quite dehydrated).

As for eating, they shouldn't have let you out of hospital before you could eat. They forced me to eat a bowl of corn flakes before they let me out of hospital when I had mine out. I'd be thinking about suing the hospital if I were you. It sounds like they haven't really taken proper care of you. At the very least, go back and talk to the surgeon.
