I'm grounded.but i want a different punishment?

ok so i pierced my tongue without permission.i got caught last sunday and now I'm grounded for a month!i know i shouldn't have pierced my tongue but they took my cell phone& i cant see my boyfriend for a month.i want to tell my mom if i can have a different punishment because I'm really going thrue h**l. :(

Just accept the punishment. The punishment is severe because you know better and still chose the action that you know would not be taken well by your parents. It will make you think twice next time you are faced with a choice

You will survive it. I don't think your mom will change the punishment. Anyway, the purpose of a punishment is for you to remember it so that you will not do it again. SO next time, you feel like doing something that you know you should not, think again.

So you're not going to like this but THAT IS THE POINT! Why would your parents give you a punishment you would enjoy? My only advice to you is to suck it up and take it well. It is possible that your parents will let you off for good behaviour if they feel that you have learned your lesson and admit your mistake, but don't expect it that will just p**s them off.

All i can say is just go with it. You take the punishments for your actions. Suck it up a mont hwill be over before you know it.
