  1. It depends on what your parents thought was so bad that they had to ground you for the rest of summer break.  I doubt there is very little you can do to get out of grounding and also if you try to pull any stunts to get out of the house or do the things they said no to....you will pay even more for it.  Just pass the time reading books or learning something new that your parents will approve of your doing.  By the way, why are you on a computer online anyhow....is this part of the grounding?

  2. since your grounded for such a long period of time you should to bond with your parents and make them devolp trust in you... if they start to see that your attitude has improved and you learned from your mistake they may let you go out once in a while.. or sooner. if you still have your cell phone and a friend calls you walk passed the room your mom/dad is in a be like oh that would have been so much but i cant go =\ dont make it obvious that you are trying to make them hear you... but it will let them know your handling this in a mature way and they may start to feel sympathy that you are missing out on fun things. the first time you ask to go out make sure it isnt a party or somewhere that is untrustworth...maybe go out to dinner w/ a couple of friends.....all these things will help your parents trust you more.

    there are plenty of activities you can do to occupy your time.

    1. make bracelets

    2. learn new recipes and cook them =]

    3. watch movies/tv

    4. bond w/ family

    5. do summer reading/work

    6. answer some yahoo answers! =]

    7. play computer/video games

    8. reorganize your room/closet

    9. you can even clean up around the house.. do dishes that were in the sink...that will help you score w/ your parents... and dont brag to them that you did - that looks like your sucking uppp.. just dont mention it untill they are like who did the dishes... and you can tell them it was u =]

    ...stuff =]

  3. I don't get how grounding kids help with ANYTHING. I'm filipino and my parents have no idea what "grounding" is but we're still raised as good kids. Your parents suck period for grounding you for the rest of summer? Or you suck for getting yourself grounded. I still think it's stupid that you're grounded for 5 weeks on summer vacation. There's really not much you can do except for downloading music, playing games, or answering questions on yahoo answers haha.

  4. Just enjoy this site question and answer and be the top contributor. lol. Try to please your parents. Ask forgiveness. They might give you less weaks of penalty. lol

  5. Swallow your pride, tell your parents your sorry, and tell them that you tell them exactly what you are going to do whenever your doing something.  It sucks but it's worse than not being able to do anything at all.

  6. first of all getting grounded is NOT fun so well what i would do is spend time with my siblings! if u cant do anythign for the rest of ur summer then learn new stuff. =) u can also go on the internet to write emails and answer ALOT of yahoo questions... well if THAT doesnt help then i guess u can just spend time reading and drawing. i mostly draw cause i want to become a fashion designer. but thats a different story..

  7. I also got frounded for a whole month...and the way she grounds me is by not letting me see my boyfriend. And believe me that effin sucks. Theres not much i can do bout it...but try to be nice to my mother.

  8. Oh geeze....I was grounded for most of my junior and senior year, trust me i know what it's like to be grounded. What i did, and i have super strict parents, was i told them that i would do a few chores, or really anything they wanted me to do, just so i could have a free day or weekend. i carried bricks from one side of the house to the other in a neat stack, it was an all day sweating event, but i had that weekend of freedom to some extent and it was way worth it. I don't know what you did, i unfortunately didn't get my grades up above a b+ average, so groundage was the consequence. Tell them you'll do anything to help around the house, if it's that important to you to have a break, and that could work, it did for me on more than one occasion.

  9. Well, you've must have done a big no-no to get that long a grounding. Hopefully you'll learn a lesson from it. Try reading .... allot!!!
