  1. Get a couple of crock pots. Put Hot Water and hot dogs in one and set out the appropriate condiments for them.  In the other, buy frozen already cooked meatballs and a jar of marinara sauce or barbeque sauce dump the meatballs and one of these sauces in and heat them up.  (if you do the meatballs with the marinara sauce - kids could also use the hotdog buns to make meatball sandwiches - just make sure you provide shredded mozzerella cheese too).  EASY!!!!

  2. chicken nuggets with different bowls of sauces to dip into, sausage rolls, jamaican patties, bits n bites, chili, chili dogs, sausage or hot dogs on a bun and make a topping station like at the carts, muffaletta sandwich (cold cuts and salads, find recipe online) but use the long french breads and make ahead day befor and serve sliced.  mini pita pockets stuffed with variety of yummy fillings, spring rolls, corn dogs.

budget wise, a huge pot of chilli served with salsa and sour cream to top and small bowl of med hot fresh chilli's or canned jalapenos for the show-offs, serve with buns. or,

hot dogs or sausage on bun with unusual toppings

  3. make pizza in cookie sheet and cut it in smallish squares.

    cold pasta salad.

    have tons of fun

  4. hot buttered toast

  5. when i turned sweet 16, our chef made the most HUGE buffet!  he hired a catering staff to help him, and they created some of the most delectable items!  one of my favorites was the strawberry banana cream puffs!  u should def look into that!

  6. maybe cupcakes to sweeten it up?

  7. lil smokies...penne pasta with some olive oil....magic bars....lemonade cookie...oooh hawaiin bread and bacon spinach dip

  8. What I usually take to get togethers is this dip and it is very simple.

2 medium cans of Hormel Chili without beans (somewhere around 18 oz sorry I don't know the exact measurement, but it is either 16 or 18 larger than your normal soup can)

2 packages of cream chesse (8 oz)

2 large bags of tortilla chips

( the recipe is basically 1 can of hormel chili to one package of cream chesse---just depends on how many people you have going---the recipe above is what I would recommend for approx 10-15 friends)

empty hormel chili into a crock pot and add cream chesse set on high (make sure to stir often) once cream chesse is melted turn to low and dip tortilla chips in and enjoy.....you can also add some velveta chesse into this also but it is sure to be a favorite with or with out it and it is simple......trust me.
