I'm having a brain f**t. new setup and can't remember how to set "my yahoo" to be the first page i see?

in internet explorer go to tools, then internet options then go under home page and type

my.yahoo.com

For IE 7, first navigate to the page you want to use (my.yahoo.com, for example). Then click Tools->Internet Options. On the General tab, you can then just click the Use Current button to use the current page as your home page. You can also type an address in the box on the General tab as suggested by other answerers.
