The party will also be my sweet 16, so there'll still be cake, presents, balloons etc (but they'll be black, orange & dark purple) It's probally going to be at my house, because i can't anywhere better to have it, & because that will give me more money to spend on the decorations and stuff. There will be about 20 guests.

  1. I hope you enjoy Halloween! Decide on a theme and maybe consider mixing the two into an event.

How about a Halloween Murder Mystery? Here is some ideas:

Or check out some of the Halloween games here  http://partygameideas.com/halloween-game...

Maybe do a Halloween Birthday Scavenger hunt.

    Have fun, sarah

  2. First I would decide if you want to do a cute Halloween party or a scary one.  Then go with that for the decorations.  For the music I would play some Halloween music and music that you and your friends like.  For the food I would google it and you will find a lot of good stuff.  For the games you could have a Haunted House, Bobbing for apples, and  a Halloween skit were you have to act out a sence using the costumes you are wearing.

  3. It sounds like you've got a good handle on decor already.  I love the idea of having purple along with the more traditional orange and black.  For music, I've read that playing scary halloween noises (which you can download from iTunes) played along with the music gives a really creepy effect so you may want to try that out.  For the music itself I would use pop music because almost everyone will hear at least a few songs that they like.  When feeding teenagers there are only two words you need to remember: sheet pizza.  Oh, don't get me wrong, those creepy Halloween foods are good to have set out too, but you should have plenty of sheet pizza and chips.  Don't forget plates and cups and napkins and plastic cutlery if you need it not to mention plenty of pop and ice.  If teenage boys are coming you need to know that teenage boys are bottomless pits.  You should have tons of back-up bags of chip.  At the bakery of your local grocery store stop by and pick up several dozen cupcakes and cookies in the Halloween theme to have out along with the cake itself.  Teens aren't big on playing games (except for maybe "7 minutes in Heaven") so you may not want to have games at the party, but you know your crowd better than I so if they are the game type keep it simple with Charades.  Just write up some Halloween phrases for people to act out such as "trick-or-treat," "candy," "monster mash" et cetera.  I bet you could find a ton on the web.  Have the game at the beginning of the night to break the ice and get the fun going.  Happy Haunting!

  4. Well every party usually has the song Monster Mash, because it's great for Halloween, but here are some others:

    Thriller - Michael Jackson

Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley

It's A Hip Hop Halloween Night - The Halloween Freaks

    Theme from Ghostbusters

I'm Your Boogie Man - KC and the Sunshine band

  5. What about a poster on the wall? Search for halloween at http://www.viewposters.com

  6. You guys could wear cool costumes; play Clue and 13 Dead End Drive; and listen to appropriate music (i.e. Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash").
