I'm having a party!?

I'm having a Christmas in July pool party. I have a few friends that will be out of town that day, do I still send them an invitation even though I know they can't make it?

Well this is a tough one, if most of your bff and friends are out of town pick a different day. Or if thats dosnt work for you and your family your friends are going to have to miss it, and if they get mad at you for not being able to come they are no\t your real friends....

Yes, you should still invite them. If you can't send them an invitation, you should at least call them and let them know what's up and that you're thinking about them and wish they could be there.

yes - that's the nice thing to do:)  Who knows - maybe their plans will chance at the last minute! ......GREAT THEME!   Maybe you can find some things with Santa on a surfboard:)

It's best to be invited, even if everyone knows that they won't be there... otherwise someone could get hurt feelings.

Yes, as a common courtesy, to show, that you are thinking about them.

Why bother sending them if you know they can't come anyway?  It seems like a waste of paper and stamps to me.
