I'm having a problem capturing video in good quality?

Here is the thing. I'm using the same device I used before I formated my computer and reinstalled windows. But now the picture is all blury when I watch it. Recording really has nothing to do with it actually. Because the program I use lets me preview what im watching while its recording like most video capture programs. I use WinAVI if it helps to know.

It used to give such great quality. what happened when I formated my computer and reinstalled windows??? I formated my computer before cause it cought a virus.

Whats wrong, why isn't it working now? I'm sooo upset, this device was over a hundred dollars and I just bought it a few months ago.

Install the drivers for the device and proper video drivers.  Check for updates.  This happened to me, the playback of video was jerky and pixelated until I installed the video drivers.  Hope this helps.
