I'm having an allergic reaction to food. Without knowing what it was, how can I prevent it from happening?

I've had...

- starbucks iced venti skinny hazlenut latte with two splenda's

- burger king junior whopper with cheese

- some french fries

- some onion rings

- some dr. pepper

  1. Go to an allergist. They do what's called a 'patch' test. That is small amounts of different things by a little scratch on your back. They then see what your body reacts to. It may be that it's not even food but something else like dust,dander,medication, and number of things.


  2.   If it was a food allergy, the best thing is to have tests run by a doctor, to see what foods caused the reaction. But there could be another factor in play here. It could be poison Ivy or Poison Oak- the doctor could tell that also.

  3. I used to be able to eat all kinds of fruit. But as I got older, I've come to find that I am allergic to some of them. But I cant tell when I suddenly become allergic to them, so what ever fruit I'm going to eat I only eat a little but of it, and stop. Wait to see what happens, if nothing then I'm not allergic! try it. =]
