Everytime I try to watch a movie with my Blu-Ray player, it's fine until it finishes loading and then from then on the picture of the disc is in a square that only takes up about 1/12th of my TV screen, in the top right hand corner. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way I can get it back to being normal picture again?

  1. Wow, that's really bizarre. The only thing I can think of that may be causing this to happen, is that you're player needs a firmware update. If you don't know how to do this, check your manual and it will explain how. Also, you can go to sony.com, and find your blu-ray player and there should be a help section that will show you details on how to upgrade the firmware (it updates software on the machine to make it run the best possible). Hope this helps.

  2. I doubt it's a firmware issue. While I have never heard of this problem it sounds like a scaling issue of some kind; most probably a fault in the player.

I suggest you call Sony support and let them help you with it.
