I'm having an indian wedding?

My fiance is indian and so we are having an indian wedding. But i have never even been to one and know what all happens and what i need to plan. So tell me more about what goes on in an indian wedding and what i need to plan?

    Well, the best source is your fiance's family.  The traditions are different for each religion and area.  Generally it lasts 2-3 days with precelebrations and stuff.  You'll probably have a garba dance the night before with most guests.  The ceremony will be during the day time the next day, where you'll be seated with the bride.  There may be a white horse involved before the ceremony.  There is a lot of chanting, and rituals, including taking 7 steps around a fire.  Also, exchanging of flower garlands.

    But again, it depends on the particular specific culture of her family.  I personally am not a fan of Indian weddings, as they are very long and drawn out, so I'm going for more of a western-length of a wedding, with a few Indian elements.  But of course, this is your choice.  Look on youtube for some videos and stuff so you can see what occurs.
