I'm having computer troubles.?

I have a year old computer and it's extremely slow. I have used Macafe and it shows nothing. Anyone have any really good scans?

go to pcpitstop.com and run their full tests, the free ones. look very carefully because there are many scans that are bull that sponsor the site. its a good site but undergoing some reorganization so its a little messy,,,it willl test your full ststem and list stuff that you can do to fdix stuff and tell u how...it also runs a check against all known viruses at the moment..,..try it, explore it a little.

Contrary to popular myth it is rarely viruses that cause slow performance.  It is more likely to be poor management of the system.  Mostly it is programs in the system start up and unnecessary processes running in the background.  Try clicking Start then run and type msconfig.  Go to the startup tab and disable everthing except your antivirus.

Download the best ant virus there is Windows live one care. Trust me from experience it is the best. It is free for the first 3 months after that you can either get rid of it or pay the $50 a year to keep it Scan your computer and get rid of all the viruses if there are any.
