I'm having deja vu about couple of times a day. Is it some kind of precognition?

No i always have deja vu its normal nothing wrong!.........What the heck does precognition mean?

Eri is right, you might want to see a neurologist if it's happening a lot. It happens to us all sometimes, but if it's becoming really frequent there could be a problem. I don't recall the details, but it was recently reported that scientists studying deja vu have discovered the part of the brain responsible for it, and it has something to do with malfunctioning circuits related to short and long term memory.

For me, it is not.  But I believe it is different for every person.  It can be a talent or a blessing, you know.  As in my case, it never did happen that I saw a certain scene before it actually happens. "Just another deja vu...", that's what I just say

Deja vu is a perfectly explainable everyday occurrence.Sometimes superstitious, silly people mistake it for something paranormal.

No, but it might be a sign of a brain problem.  I'm serious - you'll probably want to get that checked out.

Agreed.  I have heard that strong feelings of de ja vu often preclude a stroke or epileptic seizure.  You should definitely get a CT scan.

Most of the time, what can be mistaken for deja vu is just being in a familier place doing a repetetive task.  If you go o someplace and do the same thing there alot, you can have flash backs of doing that task.  It can also happen if you've only done or been somewhere once, and think you've never been there before, but really you've just forgotton and had a quick flashback of being there before.  But since your concious mind has forgotten, you just think you've had a premonition.

I dunno luv, but a few years ago stuff like that happened to me - I was in a car with my friends n I had this feeling that was like a voice but it really wasn't a voice, n it sort of told me to unlock the door and put my seatbelt on coz the car was gonna roll.  About 5 mins later we were in a car accident n the car rolled (I wasn't driving).  Then I had a dream that my bf had a red car n he was in an accident n it got written off.  Sure enough, my bf at the time bought a red car, n a week later it got written off.  I've had quite a few things like that happen, so i'd listen to them just incase!!
