I'm having french family come to america from France?

Just about anything you'd do with teenage friends from the USA except perhaps play a game of baseball or American football.

Culturally, France and the United States have vastly more in common than they have differences.

The French watch American TV programs and American movies. They listen to American music. They rollerblade, jog, play tennis, use the internet, follow the antics of celebrities, wear jeans, and, when they smoke, its most likely Marlboros.

You'll probably find that French teenagers know more about the United States than you know about France. They may be used to drinking wine with meals but their taste in food won't be very different than yours. French kids don't seem to be able to dance very well (I've never figured out why that is so) but are otherwise indistinquishable from American kids.

In other words, don't worry about it.

We, french teenagers (what am I saying I'm 21 I'm a teen no more!! pooor meeee!  hum), have been raised by american TV. So we all want to spend a vacation in America doing the american stuff we saw on TV. Like baseball, or shopping in huge mall centers (the ones we have in France are unbearably small). I think your french teenagers will have a pretty good idea about what they will want to do. And don't roll your eyes when they'll point at a yellow school bus going 'WOOOOW'. We french people are fascinated by yellow school buses...

Anything & everything!! being teens i will guess they will want to do a lot of shopping. We have had French friends come over to the States to visit us & they all loved it :)

They do know some American TV & some American music, they will know somethings on America, but i found with my French friends...they didnt think much of the fashion in America....
