When I try to get into my Itunes and window pops up and says, "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes."

when i reinstall, do i delete the old iTunes (right click, delete) or is there another way? What could have caused this??

I'm getting frustated because I haven't been able to update my Ipod in almost a month or more!!!!

  1. the same thing happened to me before i just completely deleted itunes and then downloaded it and reinstalled it again

  2. yes you must unistall itunes from your control panal. once uninstalled you must reinstall. if still dosen't work. contact customer support at apple.com

  3. Delete the old iTunes before you install the new one. I'm not sure what may have caused it, though. It would probably depend on your operating system (Mac or Windows?) and your internet hook-up. If you have Windows, you may have a virus that is affecting your files. If you have a Mac, though, I honestly don't know what to tell you.

Just try the re-install first and see what happens. If the problem persists after the re-installation, contact a service representative or someone who can help you more sufficiently.

  4. this is obviously an error

(before you do this then make a system recovery point

go to accessories then system tools and you know what do right?) ok you gotta uninstall your itunes then reinstall it if everything is ok then you have nothing to worry about if your songs are gone then use the system restore thing ok

(I like to keep my answers good if they don't work there is always a way back
